LOWER_DELMARVA_ROOTS, "A Somerset Sampler: Families of Old Somerset Co.,
MD 1700-1776" on page 56 says,`"COLLINS (COLLINGS). ANDREW (d. 1729),
of Somerset Co., was listed in Bogerternorton Hundred (laterWorcester Co.),
1723 tax list, owned tract Issacs Folly, which he left half to son William,
half to Thomas Davis; m. Mary (Truitt?) and had issue: (1) William, (2) Thomas,
(3) Levin, (4) Andrew, (5) John, (6) Mary, (7) dau., unnamed,(8) dau., unnamed;
sons were under 18 in 1728. James Truitt, Sr. had dau. Mary Collins; Thomas
Truitt was a witness to Andrew Collins' will. In Collins' inventory appraisal,
next of kin listed were Mary, Thomas, and Charles Collings. (Will of Andrew

Collings, the tract of land in Sussex County, Delaware, the tract adjacent to
and purchased of John Clowes, 50 acres in Maryland adjacent to the aforesaid
tract, the tract purchased of William Collings, 100 acres called PENNSYLVANIA
RIGHT. To To my son John Collings, the manor plantation 150 acres called
SAMUEL?S ADVENTURE, 50 acres adjacent to LONG ACRE and PENNSYLAVNIA SURVEY the
adjacent plantation belonging to Thomas Willings which I purchased of Jonathan
Vaughan. To my daughter Mary Truitt and her heirs, money from sale of 105 acres
purchased of William Bradley, and one-half the money from the sale of land in
Pocomoke Swamp. To my daughter Elizabeth Bradley, the balance of monies
