Note - Connection to our family is not well proven. However I have a chart which was submitted to the "Coffey Cousins Clearing House" which traces back to this "Newton Coffey", and the dates and locations fit well into what is known about our family.

It also appears that one of his grandaughters married Robert Coffey, who was one of Newton Eli Coffey's sons, i.e., a marriage of second cousins. See notes in file for details.
