Opal Louise McCarl, daughter of William & Bessie McCarl, was born at Grand River, Iowa Sep 13, 1920, and departed this life Feb 24, 1924 being at the time 3 years, 5 months and 11 days old. She leaves to mourn her departure a broken hearted father and mother, and 1 sister. We loved her but Jesus loved her best and has taken her home where there will be no more suffering, as her short life had been full of sickness and suffering. Funeral services were held at Baptist Church in Grand River, Tuesday, Feb 26 at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E.C. Vanderpool of Lockridge, Iowa.
Interment in the Grand River Cemetery.
