Abraham had 10 children by his first wife, Margaret Elizabeth Mitchell, all born in Kentucky.
He had 12 children by his second wife, Mary (Polly) Stringfellow. One child was born in Kentucky, 8 in Indiana, and 3 in Iowa.
So moved to Indiana in about 1826, and to Iowa in about 1847.
Is found in the 1850 Mahaska County, IA census with wife and 7 of their children. By 1860 there are 3 new children.
