Lydia Foster was the daughter of Thomas Foster and Anna Richardson. She was b. 5 Jul 1825 in Rockport, Spencer, IL. A marriage license was issued 26 January 1850 in Knox County, Ill., for Lydia and Robert Taylor Maxey and and they were married on 30 Jan 1850 by Isaac Pool, MSMEC Lydia was Robert's second wife, the first being Ridley R. Nixon by whom he had 9 children between 1821 and 1940.
