Note: Daniel Earlywine was a pvt. in the 13th Virginia Regiment of Foot in 1777 and at Valley Forge in 1778. Number is D#1081, BL100. March 21, 1783, under Colonel JohnGibson, he received his pay of 108 pounds, 7 shillings and one pence. He ws granted 100 acres under the Continental Line Warrant, Military District of Ohio, recorded June 24, 1783. See DAR 521434. Warrant 1081. His heirs filed for the land in 1830. He is shown in the 1790 census as living in Bourbon Co., KY and paid his taxes in March of 1791. Also served in the 7th and 9th Continental Lines. (Virginians in the Revolution, page 246)
