HISTORY: These Coffey Cousins Newsletters have been published since 1981. Distribution was initially via paper copies only, with a mailing and handling fee charged. Later options offered disks with images of multiple copies, again with a fee. This gradually evolved to the current system, where all access is electronic and free, and paper copies are no longer available. (but you can print your own!)
The newsletter's masthead tells you that the Editor and Publisher was Leonard Coffey from 1981 to 1989. Bonnie Culley took over from 1989 to 2012. Jack Coffey did it from 2012 to 2016. And Bonnie returned to the task from 2016.
CONTACTS: If you wish to pose a query to the newsletter, or offer an article or a suggestion, send to Bonnie Culley at "Bculey@embarqmail.com".
Fred Coffey is co-administrator of the Coffey DNA Project. If you have a newsletter query that is mostly related to DNA, send it to "FredCoffey@aol.com"., Read about the Project at "www.coffey.ws/FamilyTree/DNA".
Fred is also the distribution manager for the newsletter. This means he posts each newsletter to this online archive at "www.coffey.ws/FamilyTree/CCCNewslettersOnline", and then sends out a notice that a new issue is available. If you want to be added to the notice distribution list, or removed from it, send a brief note to "FredCoffey@aol.com".
Reams Goodloe Sr. undertook the monumental task of creating and maintaining an index to all issues of these newsletters, and he did so up through Issue #140. Fred Coffey is now starting to undertake future indexing, but the index will always be remembered as Reams' creation.
As of this writing, there are 145 issues of newsletters, containing well over 2000 total pages if printed. Fred may also be considered the "Librarian" for this collection. He is working to develop additional tools for searching, as reflected by the choices on the home page. Suggestions are welcome.
