Gragg Lenoir, June 19 - Mrs. Sarah Coffey Gragg, 78, of Gragg, died this morning at a Blowing Rock hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church at Gragg, with the Rev. W. L. Brackett of Valdese officiating. Interment will be in the Gragg cemetery. She was born in Caldwell County. Surviving are five sons, L. O. Gragg and Gleason Gragg, both of Granite Falls, Columbus Gragg of Patterson and Joseph Gragg of Lenoir; five daughters, Misses Stella and Nannie Gragg, both of Gragg, Mrs. Florence Earp of Johnson City, Tenn., Mrs. Ceinia Teague of Blowing Rock and Mrs. Cora Woodruff of Lenoir; two brothers, William Coffey of Boone and James Coffey of Union Mills; 49 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
