She was married to Hershel Alexander, and to this union three children were born Denver, Edd and Robert Alexander of Indianapolis. She was the sister of Melvin Smith and Raymond Coffey of Monticello. Evana Sue "Susie" Coffey and Hershel W. Alexander were married. Hershel W. Alexander, son of Harrison Alexander and Susan R. Slagle, was born on 27 December 1912 in Wayne Co., KY.
