8486. Elijah Henry "Lige" Coffey was born on 23 November 1897 in Kentucky. He lived with his parents in Wayne Co., KY on 8 June 1900. He lived with his father in Wayne Co., KY on 27 April 1910. He registered for the WWI draft on 12 September 1918 in Wayne Co., KY.²⁶⁴⁶¹ Lige lived with his sister Lucy in Oil Valley, Wayne Co., KY on 14 January 1920. Elijah died at Community Hospital in Glasgow, Barren Co., KY on 2 December 1968 and was buried at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Casey Co., KY in December 1968 .^{26462,26463,26464}

Lige Coffey, 70, Columbia Route 3, died in Community Hospital at Glasgow early Monday, December 2, A native of Monticello, he lived in Adair County for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Coffey; five sons, Robert, Hobart, Romar, Junior, and James Coffey; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Burton; Mrs. Nannie Swallows, Mrs. Betty Rooks and Mrs. Polly Rooks, and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Roberts and Mrs. Sophia Lair.

The Rev. George Hancock conducted the funeral service Tuesday at Grissom, Maupin and Heskamp Funeral Hime with interment in Creston Cemetery.

Pall bearers were J. R. Coffey, James Coffey, Tyler Rooks, Edwin Brown, Layman Cowan and Bobb Coffey.

Bedwell was born on 15 June 1912 in North Carolina. Mary died in Kentucky on 19 December 1990 and was buried at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Casey Co., KY in December 1990 .²⁶⁴⁶⁷
