The birth record for his daughter Nell Lenora does not give a middle name for Vance, but names the mother as Jennie Lynn while record for other children lists her name as Jennie Lind.

Coffey, Jennie L. On June 16, 1974, of College Park, Md., wife of the late Vance S. Coffey, mother of Winnie R. Davis, Nell C. Stone, Rome A. Coffey and the late Jay V. and William S. Coffey, sister of Byrd Aldridge, Emma Moore and Minnie Coffey. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren. Friends may call at Gasch Funeral Home, 4739 Baltimore ave., Hyattsville, Md., from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday. Services will be held at the Berwyn Baptist Church, 4720 Cherokee st., College Park, Md., on Thursday at 10 a.m.
