She was born at Cooperative, Kentucky on April 21, 1927 the daughter of the late Albert and Mertie Coffey Dobbs. She was a Homemaker and a member of the New Haven Baptist Church. Her parents, two brothers Sylvester Dobbs and Clinton Dobbs, a sister Edvina Dobbs, two brother-in-laws Woodrow Koger and Dean Roberts, a sister-in-law Wilma Dobbs, and a niece Shanda Dobbs precede her in death. Survivors include three brothers Odell Dobbs (Vivian) of Goshen, Ohio, Harold Dobbs of Muncie, Indiana, and Roger Dobbs (Ruth) of Oklahoma, two sisters Clara Koger of Stearns, Kentucky and Jewel Roberts of Lebanon, Ohio, two sister-in-laws Threadus Dobbs of Muncie, Indiana and Lynda Dobbs of Stearns, Kentucky.
