Good at Hospital Richard A. Goode, 69 years old, died at the Good Samaritan hospital yesterday afternoon after an illness of Bright's Disease lasting for about six months. Mr. Goods [sic] was a merchant and had been for nearly 30 years connected with the furniture business of Lexington from which he retired several years ago. He was the son of the late Captain and Mrs. Daniel B. Goode, of Casey county, a member of the Chestnut Street Christian church and of the Maccabees fraternal organization. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mildred Coffey Goode, and five children, Walter D. Goode of Detroit; Mrs. Millie Edwards, Mrs. D. T. Bolden, Arthur Goode, and Miss Jeffie Goode, of Lexington. Funeral services will be held from the family residence, 225 East Third street, Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. James F. Faulconer will officiate, assisted by the Rev. M. T. Chandler.
