"Coffey - Died Monday, September 7, 1959, in a Fredericksburg hospital, Lloyd W. Coffey, age 65, of Thornburg, Va.

"He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Coffey; one daughter, Mrs. A. R. Dunnington, of Waverly, Va.; two sons, Glenn O. Coffey, of Falls Church, Va., and Rev. Charles C. Coffey, of Kannapolis, N. C.; four sisters, two brothers and seven grandchildren.

"Remains rest at the Flynn & LeFebre Funeral Home, Beaverdam, Va., until 12 noon Wednesday, September 9, then will lie in state at Carmel Baptist Church, Caroline County, where services will be held at 2 P.M. Interment church cemetery."

Coffey

Mattie Mae Coffey died at her residence, 1901 Fall Hill Ave., Fredericksburg on Wednesday, February 18, 1976. She is survived by two sons, Glen O. Coffey of Falls Church, Va. and Dr. Charles C. Coffey of Kannapolis, N.C.; one daughter, Virginia C. Dunnington of Waverly, Va.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

The service will be held from the Wheeler & Thompson Funeral Home, 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment at Carmel Church Cemetery, Carmel Church, Va. Family will receive friends 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to favorite charities.
