Junius Blair Bridge, 81, of Lyndhurst, was dead on arrival at Waynesboro Community Hospital Saturday at 10:15 p.m. He was a member of the Mt. View Mennonite Church and was a retired farmer.

He was born in Lyndhurst Dec. 9, 1881, a son of the late Jesse and Sarah Elizabeth Trevey Bridge.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lona Evelyn Bridge; five sons, Hershel L. Bridge and Reginald T. Bridge, both of Stuarts Draft. J. Leslie Bridge of Lyndhurst, Jesse W. Bridge and Joseph G. Bridge, both at home; six daughters, Mrs. Odie (Ruth) Campbell, Mrs. Lyle (Naomi) Brooks, Mrs. Charles (Martha) Ramsey, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Wright, all of Stuarts Draft, Mrs. Malcolm (Rachel) Coffey of Waynesboro, Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Barker of Hopewell; 16 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Broughman of Roanoke.

The body has been removed from the Etter Funeral Home to the late residence where it will remain until one hour prior to the service. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Mt. View Mennonite Church, conducted by the Rev. Franklin Weaver, assisted by the Rev. Frank Hatter and the Rev. Roy Kiser. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be Clyde B. Fitzgerald, Howard Bridge, Caskie Bridge, David B. Brydge, Reginald Hatter and John D. Martin.

Junious Blair Bridge and Lonie Evelyn Lowery were married on 10 September 1911 in Lyndhurst, Augusta Co., VA. They appeared in the census on 11 February 1920 in Lyndhurst, Augusta Co., VA.¹³⁶⁰⁹ Lonie Evelyn Lowery was born on 5 August 1891 in Lyndhurst, Augusta Co., VA. Lonie died on 31 January 1977 at the age of 85 in Lyndhurst, Augusta Co., VA and was buried at Mountain View Mennonite Church Cemetery in Sherando, Augusta Co., VA.¹³⁶¹⁰
