Betty June Coffey McEntire, 73, of the 5800 block of Susquehanna Drive, went home to be with the Lord the 10 of December, 2002, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. McEntire is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph W. McEntire, two sons, Robert and wife Terry and Joseph and Cathy: five daughters, Gloria and husband Frank Ferraro, JoAnn and husband Earl Jackson, Teresa and husband Doug Lane, Patricia and husband Jack Shreck and Linda McEntire, all of the Tidewater area: Three brother Charlie Wilson Coffey and wife Dorothy of Ohio,Paul Erskin Coffey and wife Dorothy of Atlanta, GA: Robert Lee Coffey and Helen of Chattanooga, Tennessee One Sister Myrtle Marie Collins husband Jerry of LaFayette GA 25 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; extended family members, Kakie, Norma and Gracie; and many wonderful friends.

The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 ;.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home and Crematory, 6329 Virginia Beach Blvd. The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
