She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Belle Bunn Coffey and was a member of The Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Huey Beeman and one son, Jim Beeman. A loving mother of 11 children, she is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria Mayhew, of Fredericksburg, Joyce Hodges, of Knotts Island, N.C., Paula and Maxwell Beaver, of Alexandria, Va., Lynda and Lyle Mullins, of Acworth, Ga., Judy and Jerry Sayers, of Wytheville, Va., Teresa and Nuri Yurt, of Great Falls, Va., Shirley and Robert Scott, of Capeville Va., Shelby and Bryce Hanson, of Burke, Va.; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Myrna Beeman, of Woodbridge, Va. and John and Leilla Beeman, of Galax, Va.; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Blaine Jackson, Rock Hill S.C.; 29 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Kevin Fiorini, with the interment in the Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Grubb Funeral Home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. Grubb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Effie A. Beeman, both of Tennessee, and Oscar Beeman of Princeton, W.Va.; 28 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Knotts Island United Methodist Church by the Rev. Frank Jennings. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Mountain View Methodist Cemetery, Wytheville, Va. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, is handling arrangements.
