Annetta Bell "Neta" Coffey and Alfred Argie Gragg were married on 17 August 1932 in Carter Co., TN.³⁴¹³⁷ Alfred Argie Gragg, son of John Robert Joshua Gragg and Mary Adalaide Coffey, was born in 1911 in North Carolina. Alfred died in Catawba Co., NC on 7 March 1979.³⁴¹³⁸

Patsy Ramona Gragg was born on 13 July 1937 in Wilson Creek Twp., Avery Co., NC.³⁴¹⁴² Patsy died in Yadkin Valley, Caldwell Co., NC on 6 January 1998 chronic ischemic heart disease³⁴¹⁴³ Ischemia is defined as a disorder of cardiac function caused by insufficient blood flow to the muscle tissue of the heard. It is often attributed to coronary asteriosclerosis or coronary thrombosis.

Obituary, The News-Topic, Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC, Mar. 19, 2008 Johnny Gragg Johnny Robert Gragg, 66, of Lenoir, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 16, 2008, at Gateway Nursing Center. Mr. Gragg was born in Avery County to the late Alfred A. Gragg and Neta Belle Coffey Gragg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Curtis; and two brothers, Busalee and Billy Gragg. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hudson, and was a loving husband, brother and friend. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Rita Spears Gragg of the home; four sisters, Leola Townsend of Connelly Springs, Nell Keller and her husband Bill of Hudson, Charlene Shew and her husband Claude of Lenoir, and Linda Annas and her husband Terry of Hudson; and two brothers, Alfred Dean Gragg of Lenoir and McArthur Gragg and his wife Ann of Hudson. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Pendry's Funeral Home with the Rev. Marty Bess officiating. Interment will follow at Kincaid Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Harold Parlier, Edward Spears, Roger Spears, David Spears, Harold Curtis and Scott Herman. He was born March 4, 1950, in Avery County to the late Alfred A. and Neta Bella Coffey Gragg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Busalee Gragg; and a sister, Patsy Curtis. Mr. Gragg was formerly an upholsterer with Hickory Business Furniture and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and attended College Avenue Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Ms. Michelle R. Gragg and Ms. Sharon D. Gragg, both of Lenoir; three brothers, Dean Gragg, Johnny Gragg and Mackie Gragg, all of Lenoir; and four sisters, Mrs. Linda Annas and Mrs. Nell Marie Keller, both of Hudson, Mrs. Charlene Shew of Lenoir and Mrs. Leola Townsend of Valdese. Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 6, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Greer-McElveen Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Robert Brown and the Rev. Marty Bess.
