He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hudson, and was a loving husband, brother and friend. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Rita Spears Gragg of the home; four sisters, Leola Townsend of Connelly Springs, Nell Keller and her husband Bill of Hudson, Charlene Shew and her husband Claude of Lenoir, and Linda Annas and her husband Terry of Hudson; and two brothers, Alfred Dean Gragg of Lenoir and McArthur Gragg and his wife Ann of Hudson. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Pendry's Funeral Home with the Rev. Marty Bess officiating. Interment will follow at Kincaid Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Harold Parlier, Edward Spears, Roger Spears, David Spears, Harold Curtis and Scott Herman.
