R. P. Dalton

Brother R. P. Dalton was born Nov. 20, 1868, died May 15, 1931. He professed faith in Christ in early life and later joined the Missionary Baptist Church at Oak Hill where he remained a member until death. He bore his illness with patience and often talked of the heavenly home that awaits the few and faithful. He leaves to mourn their loss, his wife, a daughter, Kate Young, a son, N. C. Dalton, several grand-children, and a host of relatives and friends. Sleep on dear friend we'll meet again where heartaches and sadness will be over.

This may be the same Robert who married Elizabeth Coffey, daughter of Caswell Coffey.
