Surviving are a son, Robert Shafer; granddaughters, Cindy Shafer of Bradenton, Fla. and Kelly Shafer; a sister Daisy Lillian marks of San Anselmo, Calif.; a niece, Nancy Bostwick; great-nephews, Brenton, Blake and Grant; and numerous relatives. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joel Harbarger officiating. Burial will be in New Lexington Cemetery.
