Mr. Edward L. Bridges, age 88, of Boerne, Texas, passed away Sunday in a local hospital in San Antonio, he was a retired rancher.

Survivors: Wife, Mrs. Mae Bridges; daughters, Mrs. M. A. Chism of San Antonio, TX; Mrs. M. H. Dick of Natalia, Texas; Mrs. Roy Harris of Odessa, TX; Mrs. Raymond Barnes of San Antonio, TX; son, Edgar L. Bridges of Coah. Mexico; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; brother, A. K. Bridges of Port Arthur, TX; sister, Mrs. Velora Chick also of Port Arthur, TX; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday. Chapel Southside Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the San Jose Burial Park. Direction of: Southside Funeral Home, 6301 Flores St., San Antonio, TX.
