Claude Coffey

Claude T. Coffey, 77, of Route 2, Hudson, died Saturday, May 8, 1993 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 25, 1915, in Andrews to the late Lanese T. Coffey and Ethel Lovelace Coffey. He was also preceded in death by two sisters; and two brothers.

Mr. Coffey was a retired plant manager from Broyhill Industries and was a member of Hudson United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Caldwell Savings Bank and a volunteer with the American Red Cross Bloodmobile program.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Cook Coffey of the home; two sons, Gary Coffey of Wake Foret [sic] and Douglas Coffey of Hudson; four brothers, Ralph Coffey, Doyle Coffey, Lee Roy Coffey and Max Coffey all of Lenoir; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral is 4 p.m. today at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Giles Bowman and Joe Parker officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
