Marjorie died on 31 May 2010 at the age of 84 in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC and was buried at Yadkin Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC on 2 June 2010.³²⁶³⁶

Mrs. Margie Coffey Austin Hendrix, 84, of Lenoir, went home to be with the Lord, May 31, 2010.

Born Aug. 18, 1925 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Will F. and Annie Smith Coffey. Mrs. Hendrix was a member of Yadkin Baptist Church.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, Hubert Austin and Izard Hendrix; five brothers, Grayson Coffey, Hillard Coffey, Mike Coffey, Ray Coffey and George Coffey and three sisters, Lucille Torrence, Sarah Moore and Lexie Watson.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann Robbins and husband Thomas Ray of Lenoir; two stepsons, David Hendrix of Johnson City, Tenn.; Paul Hendrix of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Willie Mae Jones of Lenoir; six grandchildren, Daryel Church, John Church, Jason Church, Terry Robbins, Kenneth Robbins and Cheryl Brinegar and eight great-grandchildren, Jacob Church, Reanna Church, Christopher Church, Eric Church, Hayden Robbins, Adam Robbins, Mason Brinegar and Anna Brinegar.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. “They will be his people and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 20:3 and 4.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in the Yadkin Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Livingston officiating.

Coffey and Hubert Ray Austin were married on 22 July 1944 in Patterson, Caldwell Co., NC.³²⁶³⁷ Hubert Ray Austin, son of Lewis Clyde Austin and Mary Zilphia Harrison, was born on 10 March 1923 in North Carolina. Hubert died of malignant lymphoma on 31 October 1969 at the age of 46 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC and was buried at Yadkin Baptist Church Cemetery in Lenoir, Caldwell Co., NC on 2 November 1969.^32638,32639

Hendrix and Janie Church, was born on 21 January 1921 in Caldwell Co., NC.³²⁶⁴⁰ Izard enlisted in the on 1 September 1942 at Camp Croft, Spartanburg Co., SC.³²⁶⁴¹ Izard died in Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co., NC on 5 April 1986 and was buried at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Chesterfield, Burke Co., NC in April 1986 .^{32642,32643,32644}
