She was born on April 18, 1917 in Decatur, Alabama to the late John and Susie Cornelius. Mary is also preceded in death by husband, Johny Clayton Coffey, who died on July 9, 1992 and they shared 58 1/2 wonderful years; she was also preceded in death by two sons, Douglas and David Coffey. She is survived by granddaughter, Tiffanie of London, England. Mary had been a long time member of the Church of CHRIST, and was baptized in July of 1930. Her profession was nursing and she loved tending to the needs of those who were ill.
