He was born July 9, 1937 in Avery County, NC, to the late Randal Pyatte and Maude Virginia Coffee Pyatte. Mr. Pyatte was a veteran of the US Army and was self-employed as a carpenter. He attended Conway’s Chapel Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Hilton Pyatte of the home, four children, two sisters and three brothers. The memorial service will be held at Mackie Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Curtis officiating.
