Lenoir - Isaac Orestes McLean, 59, of Blowing Rock, died Saturday in a Blowing Rock hospital after a short illness. He was a former resident of Caldwell County. Funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, Upton Baptist Church, Caldwell County, the Rev. J. H. Crist, the Rev. Clyde Cornett, burial Tolbert Cemetery.

Survivors: wife, Mrs. Clara Mae Hartley McLeean; one daughter, Mrs. Bynum Church of Boone; three sons, O. J. McLean of Lenoir, Arlon McLean of Empite, Ore., Kenneth McLean of Blowing Rock; 11 grandchildren; seven sisters, Mrs. Cora Norwood, Mrs. Cordie Norman, both of Banner Elk; Mrs. Bessie Coffey, Mrs. Exie Andrews, Mrs. Velma Cook, Mrs. Wilma Shoemake, all of Route 8, Lenoir, Mrs. Verdie Lowman of Valdest; two brothers, Frank and Eddie McLean, both of Lenoir.
