Lydia died in Claiborne Co., TN on 15 July 1952.39038 Obituary Mahaly Hayes, daughter of Harmon and Vesta Hayes, was born February 3, 1885, departed this life July 15, 1952, at the age of 67 years, 5 months, 12 days. She was married to W. N. Hayes, March 28, 1901; and to this union was born 13 children, five boys and eight girls - two boys and a girl preceded her in death. She professed faith in Christ and joined the Cedar Springs Church where she remained a faithful member until death. She was afflicted for nine years and seven months, with paralysis, that left her helpless in her last years, but bore it with great patience, often desiring to go on to meet God. She leaves husband, three boys and seven girls, two sisters and one brother; 42 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren to mourn her loss, but our loss is her eternal gain. She was a kind, loving wife and mother, and was loved by all who knew her. Sleep on mother until we meet again.
