She was born April 4, 1935 in Watauga County to the late Charles Watson and Bernice Coffey Watson. Mrs. Warren was a homemaker and a member of Liberty United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Warren; one brother; and three sisters. She is survived by one son, Bill Warren of Hudson; two daughters, Kathy Hixon of Charlotte and Sue Ramos of Jacksonville, NC; two brothers, Clemmon Watson of Boone and Harold Watson of Elkin; one sister, Carmelie Welborn of Deep Gap; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday February 21, 2011 at Liberty United Methodist Church Cemetery. Dr. Tim Brittain will officiate.
