Betty Coffey Eller, of Candler, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Hominy Valley Retirement Center.

Betty was born February 23, 1928. She was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Altheia Coffey. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Coffey.

She had been a nurse and co-owner, with Carroll Eller, of His & Her Rock Shop in West Asheville.

She is survived by sons, Bill Eller and wife, Sharon, Gray, Tenn. and Jerry Eller and wife, Elaine, of Candler; brothers, Charles Coffey and wife, Kathleen, Kenneth Coffey Jr. and wife, Marie, and Gary Coffey and wife, Shirley, all of Asheville; her grandchildren, David Eller of Kingsport, Tenn., Shannon Eller of Gray, Tenn., Lori Larsen of Johnson City, Tenn.; and several nephews and nieces.

A private service was held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, Candler (828)667-8717 is assisting the family.

Betty acknowledged before men, that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God.

A living couple was married. Living was born in 1934.
