Blanche Coffey Garren, 90, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care.

Mrs. Garren was born in Caldwell County to the late Monroe Coffey and Dovie Jane Clark Coffey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bruce, Jack and Clyde Coffey; sisters, Ruby Frye, Ruth Pappas and Nell Mize.

She was retired from Southern Bell and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lenoir.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, William "Bill" Garren of Lenoir and a sister, Louise Steele of Hudson.

A funeral service will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Lenoir with Dr. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday at the church prior to the service at 10:00 a.m.

The family respectfully requests that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.

A visitation will occur Friday, May 4, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home. An interment will occur at Blue Ridg Memorial Park, Lenoir, North Carolina.
