Funeral for A. J. "Cap" Coffey of 6720 Forsythia Dr., who died yesterday in Wesley Long Hospital, was held today at 2 p.m. in Lambeth-Troxler Chapel by Rev. David Oakes of Jones Memorial Baptist Church. Graveside service followed in Oakwood Cemetery, Hickory. Pallbearers were Leo Nance, Wade Phillips, Melvin Oakes, Elvin Parks, Charlie Garrett, Red Henry, C. W. Wyrick, and J. A. Sloop.
