932. Marshal F. Crumpton was born circa 1835 in Georgia. He served Co. H, 36th Inf. Regt. GA between 24 April 1862 and 16 May 1863. Marshal enlisted in the on 24 April 1862 at Co. H, 36th Inf. Regt. GA. Marshal died of battle wounds on 16 May 1863 at the age of 28 in Baker's Greek, Raymond, Hinds Co., MS.³⁸¹²

Marshal F. Crumpton and Jane were married. They appeared in the census on 7 July 1860 in Polk Co., TN.³⁸¹³ Jane was born about 1839 in Kentucky. She appeared in the census on 24 August 1870 in Vernells Station, Whitfield Co., GA.³⁸¹⁴

3383	i.	Henry Crumpton was born about 1858 in Tennessee. He lived with his parents in Polk Co., TN on 7 July 1860. He lived with his mother in Varnells Station, Whitfield Co., GA on 24 August 1870.
3384	ii.	Georgia Crumpton was born about 1859 in Tennessee. She lived with her parents in Polk Co., TN on 7 July 1860. She lived with her mother in Varnells Station, Whitfield Co., GA on 24 August 1870.
3385	iii.	Lovey Crumpton was born about 1862 in Georgia. She lived with her mother in Varnells Station, Whitfield Co., GA on 24 August 1870.
3386	iv.	Caswel (?) Crumpton was born about 1867 in Georgia. This child is obviously not a son of Jane by Marshall. He lived with his mother in Varnells Station, Whitfield Co., GA on 24 August 1870.
