Etta was born October 26,1925 at Slavens KY.; in McCreary County to the late James "Ode" and Alcie Elizabeth Jones Coffey. She is preceded in death by her husband James Carroll Pelley, two brothers; Conley and Ellard Coffey; and five sisters; Grace Coffey, Stella Ross, Clore Tisdale and Emma Vaughn. Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Pelley of Gravel Switch KY., and a son Lonnie Ray Coffey of Clifton TN., six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great great grandsons. Etta was a retired Factory Worker and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church Slavens KY. She enjoyed making quilts for all her family members, she was an avid sports enthusiast always rooting for KY., she loved fishing and talking with family and friends on the phone.
