Watkins, 94, of Gosport, died Thursday at the Gosport Nursing Home. Born Oct. 16, 1911, in Owen County, she was the daughter of Charles I. and Mary Ann (Hendricks) Coffey. She was a homemaker. She worked 16 years at the Owen County State Bank in Gosport and 8 1/2 years at RCA. She was a member of Gosport Baptist Church, the Eureka Club, where she was secretary for 25 years, and she attended the Stinesville Pentecostal Church. Survivors include one son, Phillip "Phil" Snodgrass of Spencer; one daughter, Vyra Fleckenstein of Spencer; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, William Snodgrass, Riley Smith and John Watkins; one daughter, Janice Hall; four brothers and three sisters. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Whitaker Funeral Home in Gosport with Brother Bob Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Gosport Cemetery. Friends may call 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
