3257. Arthur Coffey was born on 6 February 1894 in Russell Co., KY. Arthur died in Columbus, Bartholomew Co., IN on 10 January 1962 and was buried at Mount Pleasant UMC Cemetery in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY on 13 January 1962 .¹¹²⁰⁹

Arthur Coffey, a native of Russell County but who has been making his home in Columbus, Ind. for the past 20 years, died there on Wednesday morning January 10. Had he lived until February 6, he would have been 68 years of age.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Williams Coffey, a son, Chester Coffey, and three grand-children, all of Columbus. A brother, Andy Coffey of Montpelier, Ky. also survives.

The body is being returned here and will be at the Rippetoe Funeral Home, Russell Springs, tomorrow (Friday). Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, January 13, in the Mount Pleasant Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Ernest Dixon. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with Rippetoe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. [Judy Lynn]

Arthur Coffey and Mary L. Williams were married circa 1914. Mary L. Williams, daughter of Luther Martin Williams and Leora Myrtle Wheat, was born on 8 October 1895 in Kentucky. Mary died in Kentucky on 4 December 1971. Mount Pleasant UMC Cemetery in Russell Springs, Russell Co., KY in December 1971 .¹¹²¹⁰
