Mrs. Bessie Bean Dies At Her Home; Services Friday

Mrs. Bessie Bean, wife of William Bean, died at eight o'clock Tuesday evening, September 1, at her home, 300 South Harrison Street. She was 78 years old.

Mrs. Bean was born February 1, 1886, the daughter of Laura Thomas Coffey and Levi Coffey.

She was a member of the Spencer Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, William Bean; three daughters, Mary Ranard, Spencer, Delphia Neisinger, Spencer, and Wanda Price, Otterbein; a son, John Keys and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday at the West & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. C. A. Underwood officiating.

Interment was in River Hill Cemetery.

Bessie Coffey and William Bean were married. Bessie was apparently married several times. A record for her marriage to William has not yet been located. William Bean was born on 11 September 1884. William died in Indiana on 22 September 1964 and was buried at River Hill Cemetery in Spencer, Owen Co., IN in September 1964 .²⁰⁶¹³
