Mr. C. had well nigh reached his four-score years--he was for quite a number of years, (in fact up to the time of his departure from this world,) keeper of a hotel at Liberty, during which time, he made a large circle of acquaintances and friends. Few have passed through life and left behind a more desirable reputation that he; being beloved by all who knew him.
