1925 - 2007

Dorothy Fulcher Coffey, 82, of Madison Heights, died Friday, April 20, 2007.
She was the wife of the late John Daniel Coffey, Sr.

Mrs. Coffey was born March 28, 1925, in Amherst County, a daughter of the
late Cleveland Delany and Susie Almond Fulcher Armfield. A son, Talmadge
Cleveland Coffey; a brother, Robert Fulcher; and a sister, Helen Hamlet,
also preceded her in death. She was a member of Madison Heights Christian
Church.

She is survived by a son, John D. Coffey Jr., and wife, Faye, of Woodbury,
Minn.; her grandchildren, Ben Coffey of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Kim C.
Henson of Largo, Fla.; and her great-grandchildren, Bryce, Riley Jo and
Haley Lyn Henson of Largo, Fla.. She is also survived by her nieces, Brenda
Hicks of Madison Heights, and Bonnie Day and her husband, Danny and their
daughter, April of Lynchburg; a brother-in-law, Claude Hamlet of Rustburg;
and a nephew, Albert Allen Jr. And his wife, Sue and their son, Christopher.

The family will receive friends at 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007,
at Tharp Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2007,
in Fort Hill Memorial Park, with the Rev. Jack D. Hamilton officiating.
