She was the wife of the late Russell William Crawford. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Willie Coffey. Mrs. Crawford is survived by one son, Billy Crawford and his wife, Bernice; two daughters, Ruth Ann Schmitt and Gladys Mae Gibson, all of Madison Heights; one brother, Richard Coffey and his wife, Ruby, of Lynchburg; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a very special caregiver and friend, Milford Thomas of Madison Heights. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at Whitten Monelison Chapel by the Rev. Charlie Harbin and the Rev. David Heerspink. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at the funeral home and other times at the home of her daughter, Ruth Ann, 200 Greenwood Drive, Madison Heights.
