Olga May Coffey Staton, 84, Buena Vista, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at Shenandoah Valley Health & Rehab.

She was born April 5, 1934 in Rockbridge County to the late Henry Moses Coffey and Mary "Mollie" Lena Oliver.

She was also preceded by her husband, Edward William Staton.

She was a member of the First Brethren Church, Buena Vista.

Surviving is one sister, Georgie Henson.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Allwood Cemetery, Amherst, by the Rev. Michael Hamilton.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Edward died in Amherst, Amherst Co., VA on 16 March 2016 and was buried at Allwood Cemetery, El Bethel Church in Amherst, Amherst Co., VA on 18 March 2016 .²⁹⁴⁹⁸

Edward William Staton, 95, of Buena Vista, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born March 28, 1920, in Amherst, he was a son of the late Abner Garrett Staton and Hattie Brown Staton.

Mr. Staton was a member of the First Brethren Church, Buena Vista.

Surviving is his wife, Olga Coffey Staton.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, March 18, at the Allwood Cemetery, Amherst, with the Rev. Michael Hamilton officiating.
