Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Coffey, two daughters, Mrs. Walter Wyatt of Vannoy and Mrs. Louisa Shepherd of Wilbar; two brothers, J. T. Coffey of Wilbar and Larkin Coffey of Route 1, North Wilkesboro; three sisters, Mrs. Ellen Johnson of Wilkesboro, Mrs. Becky Bumgarner of North Wilkesboro and Mrs. Carolina Key of Laurel Springs. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday at the home by the Rev. Kermit McGrady. Burial will be in the Patrick Family Cemetery.
