Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Harpersville Cemetery, directed by Morehart Mortuary. Rev. Dwiggins was born in Breckenridge and graduated from North Texas State University, Hardin-Simmons University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He worked as a county school superintendent in Breckenridge in the 1930s and was a military chaplain with the rank of captain in the China-Burma-India Theater during World War II. He was a Baptist minister for more than 40 years in Louisiana, Texas and Colorado. Survivors include three children, Donna Woods of Houston, Darci Hill of Huntsville and John David Dwiggins of Austin; one sister, Leona Erwin of Farmington, N.M.; and four grandchildren.
