CONCORD - Harvey Adam Coffey, 76, of 185 Wilkinson Court, Apt. 217, died Friday, April 21, 2006, at his home. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. There will be a graveside service 3:30 p.m. at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Jeff Burris, the Rev. Curtis Cauble and the Rev. Mike Thevenin officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park, Concord.

Mr. Coffey was born Oct. 5, 1929, in Cabarrus County, the son of the late Lewis Haywood Coffey and the late Beulah Victoria (Almond) Coffey. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in the Korean War. He had been employed by Fieldcrest as a color coordinator. He was a member of Harvest Community Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jean Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Wilson Coffey of the home; sons, Thomas Harvey Coffey and wife, Ann, of Concord and Timothy Wayne Coffey and wife, Karen, of Wingate; daughter, Tina Jo Ann Coffey of Mooresville; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. The family will meet at the home of Tom Coffey, 1179 Pless St., Concord.
