Services will be 11 a.m. Monday in Witt United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home, Witt, with 8 p.m. Masonic services. Burial will be in Witt Cemetery. Mr. Coffey was born in Witt, son of Moses and Mary Coffey. He was a painter and paper hanger, member of United Methodist Church, Irving Masonic Lodge and a Navy veteran of World War I. He married Geneva Snyder in 1925. She died in 1979. Surviving are his son, Dennis of Carbondale; daughters, Colleen Kozuk of Muncie, Ind.; Sherry Mathis of York, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Homer O. "Hambone" Coffey and Geneva P. Mathewson were married. Geneva P. Mathewson was born in 1903.
