Mr. Coffey is survived by his wife, Helen Pearson Coffey of the home; four daughters, Barbara McCloud of Hudson, Gloria Creasy and husband Steve and Angela Dellinger both of Morganton, and Wanda Marley of Lenoir; three sons, Allen Coffey and wife Misty of Morganton, Albert Coffey and wife Patricia and Wayne Coffey and wife Danielle both of Lenoir; his father, Levi Coffey of Blowing Rock; two brothers, Eugene Coffey and wife Anita and Larry Coffey and wife Doris both of Hudson. Sixteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survives. He was preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Gragg Coffey. Funeral services for Mr. Floyd Bruce Coffey will be conducted Friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Boone Fork Baptist Church. Officiating will be Reverend Darryl Miller and Reverend Dewey Bristol. Burial will follow in the Boone Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:30 at the funeral home.
