She professed faith in Christ at an early life and joined the Methodist Denomination. She later became a Baptist. She often spoke of her heavenly home and of her parents and their children who had gone on before her. She married Charley Coffey 1896 and to his union 7 children were born. He professed faith in Christ and jointed the Oak Hill Church the first Satuarday June 1905. Later ordained a deacon and remaining a member of this church until death. He was married to Susan McDaniel in 1896 and to this union was born seven children; his wife and three children preceded him in death. Later he married Bell Lakins who also preceded him in death. He leaves four children, four brothers and one sister, 30 grand children two great grand children, step mother and host of friends to mourn his loss. He often talked about his church and went until he was unable to go to his church meeting. We have lost a loving father, but God knew best. We hope to meet him again when life is over.
