Sarah Amanda Coffey and Jacob Tilmond Gurley were married on 28 September 1879 in Watauga Co., NC.^7590,7591 They^{^7590,7591} lived with her mother in Globe Twp., Caldwell Co., NC on 15 June 1880. Jacob Tilmond Gurley, son of Benjamin F. Gurley and Mary Ann Harkey, was born on 3 September 1858 in North Carolina. He lived with his parents in Stanly Co., NC on 28 July 1860. Jacob died on 17 March 1919 at the age of 60 in North Carolina and was buried at Oakwood Cemetery in Concord, Cabarrus Co., NC.^7588,7592
