COFFEY

Robert Harold Coffey Sr., 88, was reunited with his beloved wife of 55 years, Betty, on May 10, 2010. He was the son of Richard Earl and Lois Murray Coffey. Born in Chickasha, OK, raised in OKC, graduated from Classen H.S., attended Colorado University and Okla. A&M. Served in the Army Air Corps as a glider pilot, 1943-45. Flew in the heroic operation, Market Garden, in Holland, 1944. Married his wife, Betty Crome, in England. Lived in OKC and worked for Mid-Continent Ins. until his retirement. Survived by sons, Bob Jr., Colin and Loren; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Memorial service May 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm at St. John's Episcopal Church, 5201 N. Brookline, OKC.

Betty Crome Coffey

COFFEY Betty Crome Coffey 2/1/22 10/15/00 Betty, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend died October 15th at the age of 78. Born Cleethorpes, England to Sarah and William Crome who had Olive, Edna, Irene, Roy, Wilford, Betty, Joyce and Colin. Married flight officer Robert H. Coffey during WWII at St James Church, Grimsby, England on 5/2/45. Established a residence in Oklahoma where they raised three sons: Robert Jr., Colin and Loren. Betty has 7 grandchildren and 5 great grand children. We will love and miss her for the rest of our lives. Memorial service to be held at St. Johns Episcopal Church, 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 18th.
