980. Benjamin Franklin Coffey was born on 10 March 1843 in Missouri. Benjamin enlisted in the 33d Texas Cavalry, CSA on 1 January 1863 and was discharged in the Spring of 1865. Benjamin died in Menard, Menard Co., TX on 18 July 1926 and was buried at Hext Cemetery in Hext, Menard Co., TX in July 1926 .^{3995,3996,3997} Benjamin's widow applied for his Civil War pension in Llano Co., TX on 27 July 1926³⁹⁹⁸

Benjamin Franklin Coffey and Delilah Nicklaus were married circa 1865. They appeared in the census on 28 August 1870 in Sisterdale, Kendall Co., TX.³⁹⁹⁹ They³⁹⁹⁹ appeared in the census on 17 June 1880 in Medina Co., TX.⁴⁰⁰⁰ Delilah Nicklaus was born circa 1843 in Louisiana. Delilah resided with the Copeland family in Owenville, Robertson Co., TX on 16 June 1860. Delilah's death date and place of burial is not known to me. There is however, a Coffey with unknown given name and no dates, buried at the Hext Cemetery in Menard Co., TX. Other Benjamin Coffey family membes are also buried here.

Benjamin Franklin Coffey and Lucinda E. Gage were married on 6 May 1910 in Llano Co., TX.⁴⁰⁰¹ Lucinda E. Gage, daughter of Jesse Gage and Martha A. , was born circa 1850 in Arkansas. Lucinda died in Llano, Llano Co., TX on 21 January 1934 and was buried at Llano City Cemetery in Llano, Llano Co., TX on 21 January 1934 .⁴⁰⁰²
