They appeared in the census on 14 June 1880 in Russell Co., KY.3302 They3302 appeared in the census on 22 June 1900 in Russell Co., KY.3303 Richard Hadley was born on 24 November 1840 in Kentucky. Richard died in Adair Co., KY on 17 October 1910. He was married to Polly Ann Coffey 43 years the day he was buried October 18, 1910. He had been a member of the Methodist church about 40 years in which he lived a faithful member until death called him home. He was a great sufferer for many years. He had been closely confined to his bed for the last five months. His family, his doctor and his neighbors did all that they could to release his sufferings, but all to no avail. The time for him to go and he went. He leaves behind him a dear old and much afflicted wife, two sons, two daughters, one brother, three half brothers and two sisters and many friends to mourn, but not as those who have no hope. Bro. Williams preached his funeral in his home church after which his body was laid to rest in the Russell Springs grave yard in the presence of a large crowd. Another good man has gone from us.
